Synergy Project

Birthed out of the Synergy Service Partnership project, the Synergy Symposium is a biennial event that highlights the power of collective action in collaboration with funders, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders. The 3rd Biennial 2020 Synergy Symposium is tentatively scheduled to be held on October 23-October 24 in Miami, Florida.

The 2nd Synergy Symposium

Conceived by Concerned African Women in partnership with The Children’s Trust and Miami Dade County, the focus of the 2nd Synergy Symposium was to spotlight the power of collective impact to solve society’s toughest challenges in five fields: Education, Poverty, Health, Safety, Family Strengthening, and Entrepreneurship. The tri-fold purpose was to:

Convene national and local practitioners and funders whose investments are working to bring about change to low-income communities across Florida.

Share insights and inspirations with a regional audience.

Leverage the day’s experience and deepened connections to create innovative new collective impact initiatives.

Attendees included a diverse group of people committed to new heights of synergy in aligning resources to improve results in community advancement. Such as funders, practitioners, and change makers:

Who want to expand the scope of their work to speed results in their own communities

Who want to be part of new, synergistic collaborations that make long-term, effective change

Experts Who Will Share Their Success
